Dr. Ray Arnold is an Abbeville native. He attended Abbeville High school and then Wallace Community College, before earning his undergraduate degree from Troy University. He graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981. Dr. Ray opened Arnold Veterinary Hospital in Abbeville in 1987. He is married to Marlene Mobley Arnold.
Ashleigh is a 15 year old Domestic Longhair. She loves to cuddle Her favorite spots in the office are in our printer and laying in front of our computer monitors.
Deana has been with Arnold Veterinary Hospital since 2010. She grew up in Hartselle, Alabama and relocated to the Wiregrass in 1999 after graduating from high school. She is a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant and worked in human medicine and retail prior to joining our staff. .
Ester is a 15 year old marble Domestic Shorthair. She’s known for her funny meow, which always sounds angry, and her tongue that sticks out. She’s often found on Deana’s desk or battling Clairee for the front counter.
Brittany is a native of Barbour County. She first joined our staff in 2005 while attending Eufaula High School and then Wallace Community College. She left in 2012 to attend Tuskegee University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree. Brittany rejoined our team in 2016, but is hoping to pursue her life long dream of becoming a Veterinarian. Brittany does the grooming at our office.
Clairee is a 12 year old Domestic Longhair known for her good looks, her curly tail and is usually atop our front counter where she likes to greet our clients. She also enjoys stealing our pens and leaving them throughout our office.
Nadine is a kennel assistant and began working with us in the fall of 2014. She loves animals and has adopted many animals through the clinic. She is an avid gardener, and shares her crops with friends and family.
Marmalade aka Marm or Marmels is a 10 year old Domestic Shorthair, her coloring is known as Lilac or Lavender. She usually is found in Dr. Ray’s office sleeping, or in the cabinets hiding.
Addison is a senior at Abbeville High School. She began working for us in June of 2017 as a kennel assistant. Addison is President of HOSA at Abbeville High and is also a member of the book club.
Sully is a tabby colored Domestic Shorthair, and is 18 years old. His favorite hiding place in the barn, but loves to find new spots to confuse us when we look for him.
Who’s a good boy? Edgar Allan Paw is a good boy! Edgar was adopted by the staff in 2017 and loves hanging out with our boarders.
